  • What is microblading exactly and how is it different than permanent makeup?
Permanent Makeup is a form of cosmetic tattooing, also known as micropigmentation. It has been around since atleast the 20th century, but maybe even before that. There’s even evidence that the Queen Cleopatra of ancient Egypt had cosmetic tattooing done! It is a cosmetic technique where the pigment is inserted into someone's skin to resemble makeup. It is typically achieved using a machine or manual hand tool to create permanent enhancements to the eyebrows, eyes, lips, and body. Microblading is a technique of cosmetic tattooing performed only on the eyebrows. As with much earlier methods of cosmetic tattooing, it is done by manually depositing pigment into the second layer of the skin (dermis). But what makes it truly different is the hand tool used. The unique formation of needles allows the artist to create the look of real eyebrow hairs by tattooing very fine hair-like and feathered strokes into the skin.
  • What is Ombre Shading
A Permanent procedure to create a soft make up look to fill in your brows. The artist uses a tattoo machine and different cartridges to gradually darken, define and soften the brows to your preference. This is perfect for that that prefer to have a defined shape and recommended for most skin type
  • What is Micro shading / Combination Brows
A Popular choice by combining Microblading with Ombre Shading. The artist will create hair stokes in the front of your brows and define your arch and tail to give you the best of both worlds. This is perfect for an everyday wear and people with normal and combination skin
  • How Long Does it Last?
It really depends on your life tyle and the health of your skin. Microblading procedures should last anywhere from 1 to 3 years before requiring a touch-up. Microblading is not supposed to last forever and will require touch-ups when the pigment begins to fade. Microblading is a form of semi-permanent makeup and is subject to fading over time due to exfoliation, sun exposure and skincare products that may increase exfoliation of the skin. Ombre Shading is permament and will gradually fade over the years. It will heal soft and natural looking. You can choose to have yourombre more defined or soft. It is recommended to have a color boost every 1-2 years
  • How Long Does it Take to Heal?
Just like a typical skin wound, it will take about 10 - 14 days to heal (day 4-7 is usually when the scabbing occurs). It is not reccomended to get the eyebrow wet because it will affect the skin or the healing process. This includes heavy exercise and sweating, showering, and face down swimming. Once teh scabbing is completed around day 10-14. I may resume regular activities. The area will be fully healed 30 days after the procedure was done. I detailed home care will be provided to you during the procedure
  • Does it Hurt?
Because you are numbed prior to the procedure, the level of pain experienced can be minimized, but in all honesty, there is definitely some discomfort involved. The best way to describe the discomfort felt during a microblading procedure would be similar to that of a continuous cat scratch on and around the area. The skin near the front of your eyebrow is thicker, so this will likely be a lot less painful than the tail of your eyebrow. The tail of your eyebrow sits very close to the temple, where the skin is very thin. The thinner the skin, the more likely you will experience a higher level of discomfort or pain. That being said, everyone's skin and pain threshold are different, so everyone will have varying experiences. There should not be a point during the procedure where the pain becomes unbearable.
  • Will it fade into a blue color?
No, all pigments are brown based and made of iron oxide. Previously in the past, Black ink was used
  • Are you AHS approved and Insured?
